Resumo
A investigação e ação transnacionais colaborativas para promover a saúde
para todos podem ser traduzidas como Saúde Global. O século 21 trouxe
a necessidade das equipas passarem a trabalhar cada vez mais em redes de
investigação científica e tecnológica, devido ao enorme volume de dados
existente neste novo milénio. Novos modelos de trabalho necessitam de ser
criados a fim de agilizar o avanço da ciência. Portanto, o trabalho em rede
de colaboração pode contribuir para a área da saúde pública ser mais eficaz
em encontrar soluções para as mazelas da humanidade.Assim, a proposta de
fornecer um mecanismo para facilitar a colaboração e a partilha de recursos
na área da saúde global entre os países de língua portuguesa e espanhola
permitirá a disseminação do conhecimento científico e a oferta de meios
pedagógicos inovadores em áreas de excelência da Saúde Global em lín-
gua portuguesa e espanhola. Desta forma, abre-se uma oportunidade para
desenvolver abordagens para aumentar o impacto das atividades de inter-
câmbio, partilha e transferência de conhecimento entre os diversos atores
através da
web
2.0.

Abstract
Collaborative transnational research and action to promote health for
all can be translated as Global Health. The 21st century brought the
need for teams to increasingly work on scientific and technological
research networks because of the sheer volume of data in this new
millennium. New models of work need to be created to accelerate the
advancement of science.Therefore, collaborative networking can con-
tribute to the public health area being more effective in finding solu-
tions to the woes of mankind. Thus, the proposal to provide a mecha-
nism to facilitate collaboration and sharing of resources in the global
health area between Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries will
allow the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the provision of
innovative pedagogical means in areas of excellence in Global Health
In Portuguese and Spanish. In this way, an opportunity is opened to
develop approaches to increase the impact of activities of exchange,
sharing and transfer of knowledge among the different actors through
web 2.0.
